We knew that relying entirely on 2D newspaper graphics could easily feel cheap or cheesy. Our strategy was to use the vintage printing press as a fun hook, but quickly anchor the video in real, human emotion. By physically bringing the printed newspaper into their real, romantic world, we gave them a bold theme that still felt incredibly sophisticated and deeply personal.
